Formed in 1991, the Tri-City Elder Coalition (TCEC) is an affiliation of over sixty-five organizations, including senior service providers, cultural and faith groups, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and businesses — all with one goal — to provide programs, services, and opportunities for seniors living in Fremont, Newark, and Union City, CA.
The MISSION of the Tri-City Elder Coalition is to develop and support community-based partnerships through education, advocacy and resource sharing to improve the well-being of seniors residing in the Tri-City area.

Pathways to Positive Aging
Pathways to Positive Aging, a partnership between the Tri-City Elder Coalition and the City of Fremont Human Services Department, is an initiative dedicated to improving the quality of life for older adults in Fremont, Newark, and Union City, California.
Millions of Californians will be able to choose affordable, quality health insurance coverage offered through Covered California™ that will take effect January 2014. Covered California is a new, easy-to-use marketplace where you and your family may get financial assistance to make coverage more affordable and where you will be able to compare and choose health coverage that best fits your needs and budget. Senior Help Line
There are many situations that may indicate an elder is experiencing some difficulty managing this time in their lives. The City of Fremont’s Senior Help Line Coordinator connects seniors, their families, and community members with information about programs and resources available in the Tri-City Area, such as health care, legal services, paratransit, meals on wheels, and emergency aid, among others.
